Our 2026 High School Scholarship Recipients
Alexander Blom
Alexander Blom is a dedicated student, athlete, and leader at Fleming Island High School. A four-year varsity golfer, he has developed discipline, perseverance, and a strong work ethic on and off the course. He is a member of multiples clubs and organizations, serving in leadership roles. Alexander is passionate about giving back and has been involved in multiple community service initiatives supporting local organizations. Music has been an important outlet for Alexander, helping him stay focused, grounded, and resilient. He will attend Florida State University to pursue a degree in Finance/Business.
Anna Wages
Anna Wages is a varsity soccer player and is involved in many clubs at OPHS. She is heavily active in her church and loves the beach. She has earned her AA degree from St. Johns River State College and plans to attend the University of North Florida where she will study Kinesiology.
David Connor Murphy
David Connor Murphy is a dedicated student at Ridgeview High School and an IB Diploma candidate who combines academic excellence with leadership, athletics, and service. As a varsity athlete, Senior Class Vice President, and active community volunteer, he is passionate about teamwork and public speaking. In the future, David plans to pursue a career in precision agriculture and agricultural business, with the goal of using innovation and leadership to improve agricultural systems and support rural communities.
Evan Davies
Evan Davies is a dedicated student leader with a strong passion for serving both his community and his faith. Throughout high school, he has been actively involved in more than 10 school clubs while also dedicating over 200 service hours during his senior year alone. In 2024, Evan earned the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, reflecting his leadership, commitment, and character. He plans to attend the University of Florida to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering and hopes to apply his skills within the Formula Drift division of racing.
Grant Charles
Grant Charles is a dedicated multi-sport athlete making the most of his senior year through weightlifting, football, and serving as captain of his lacrosse team. He is deeply involved in both his church and community. Following graduation, he plans to attend University of North Florida to pursue a degree in civil engineering.
Janelle McKenzie
Janelle McKenzie is a student leader and accomplished musician who serves as President of her school's Band Program, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and Pure Life Club. She has earned numerous academic and musical honors throughout high school and has been actively involved in a variety of ensembles. After graduation, Janelle plans to complete her Associate of Arts degree through the University of North Florida before pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Architecture and Design at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.
Lillian Michel
Lillian Michel is a Senior IB Diploma Program candidate at Ridgeview High School who has a passion for music, colorguard, and serving her community. She proudly serves as the Vice-President in bother her Choir Program and Tri-M Music Honor Society, and has been a participant in the All-State SSAA Choir for three years where she was awarded with solos and descants each time. However, what brings her great joy is mentoring younger musicians with their musical journey and helping them see that music has a unique power to reach people on an emotional level that words alone cannot. She will continue her education at the University of South Florida as a Music Education major and hopes to one day inspire students, encourage creativity, and positively continue to impact the community through music.
Mark Sumpter
Mark Sumpter is a student at Orange Park High School with a 4.33 GPA and a passion for learning about different cultures and uplifting underrepresented communities. Following graduation, he plans to attend University of Central Florida to pursue a degree in Data Science with hopes of becoming a lead marketing engineer. Mark is heavily involved on campus through leadership roles in theater, student organizations, and service initiatives, while also earning numerous academic and performance achievements throughout high school.
Savannah Holsey
Savannah Holsey is a talented varsity volleyball athlete who enjoys sharing her passion for the sport by coaching at the YMCA. She also enjoys expressing her creative side through dance and visual arts. Additionally, she excels academically as an AP and Honors student at Fleming Island High School. After graduating, she plans to attend the Honors College at Florida State University where she will pursue a bachelor's degree in Political Science.
Sophia Morales
Sophia Morales is a dedicated AICE student and an active member and leader in several clubs. Outside of her AICE studies, she enjoys hobbies such as painting, reading, and traveling. After graduating from Fleming Island High School, Sophia will earn her AICE diploma with Merit. She plans to attend the University of South Florida to pursue a career in Architecture, where she aims to combine her passion for design with her desire to help others by creating safe environments that promote mental well-being.

Ashleigh Bowmaster
Ashleigh Bowmaster is a varsity cheerleader and an active member of several clubs and organizations at her school. After earning her Associate of Arts (AA) degree, she plans to attend Florida State University in the fall to pursue a major in Marketing.
Ezra Garrison
Ezra Garrison is a dedicated cross country athlete and an active member of several clubs at his school. Outside of academics and athletics, he has a strong passion for photography and music, where he enjoys expressing his creativity. He plans to attend Union University and pursue a double major in Finance and Biblical Languages/Theology.
Savannah Jackson
Savannah Jackson is a talented volleyball athlete and singer who has committed to play collegiate volleyball at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she will also be a member of the Honors College. She will graduate from Fleming Island High School with Honors as an Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar. She plans to pursue a degree in Biology with a Pre-Med track, specializing in Pediatrics, as she continues to combine her passion for athletics, academics, and helping others.
Kurian Thykadavil
Kurian Thykadavil is a talented athlete, excelling in soccer and lacrosse, as well as a passionate filmmaker. He enjoys helping kids learn the fundamentals of soccer and tapping into his creative side through film. Kurian will be attending Florida State University, where he plans to pursue a degree in Pre-med.
