Philip Reagan Haynes, born on September 1, 2004, in Orange Park, Florida, was a vibrant and talented soul whose passing on November 24, 2024, left a profound impact on all who knew him. A junior at Florida State University pursuing a degree in business marketing and a 2022 graduate of Fleming Island High School, Philip was a shining example of kindness, creativity, and determination.

Philip excelled both as an athlete and a musician, thriving in sports like baseball, lacrosse, and wrestling while teaching himself to play the keyboard, drums, and guitar with remarkable skill. He also had a deep love for film, whether it was creating Youtube videos, telling stories through the lens, or stepping in front of the camera himself. His positivity and love for life inspired everyone around him, and he had a gift for creating memories that brought joy to others.

To carry forward the way Philip lived his life and honor his legacy, the Philip Reagan Haynes Always See the Good Foundation was created to support students who share his passion, creativity, and determination. The foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are actively involved in sports, music, or the visual and performing arts—pursuits that brought Philip joy, confidence, and connection. In tribute to his deep love for film and storytelling, the foundation also supports students at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts, encouraging young creators to pursue their craft, tell meaningful stories, and always see the good.

Our Story
